Honoring Strength: October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month!
Each October, we pause to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated not only to spreading awareness but also to honoring the courage of those affected and the loved ones who support them every step of the way.
At the Danielle Yagjian Holmes Foundation, we are deeply committed to shining a light on the realities of breast cancer—because behind every statistic is a story, a family, a fight.
In 2025 alone, 316,950 new cases of breast cancer have already been diagnosed in the United States. That’s more than a number—it’s a staggering reminder of how many lives are impacted every single day. These are our mothers, daughters, sisters, friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
Breast cancer affects not just the person receiving the diagnosis, but entire communities. It changes lives, tests strength, and often brings people closer together in resilience, compassion, and hope.
This month, we invite you to:
• Honor those who are battling breast cancer and those we’ve lost.
• Support ongoing research and early detection efforts.
• Educate yourself and others about the importance of regular screenings.
• Show love to the caregivers and families who stand beside their loved ones through the most difficult days.
Whether through a donation, a shared story, or simply wearing pink, your voice matters. Your support matters.
Together, let’s keep raising awareness. Let’s keep fighting. And most importantly, let’s keep hoping—for a world without breast cancer.
With love and strength,
The Danielle Yagjian Holmes Foundation
